1. Purpose & Philosophy
At Keenfunnel, we believe that work is something you do, not a place you go. As a 100% remote organization, we prioritize efficiency, transparency, and results. This policy outlines the standards expected of our team to maintain high performance and work-life balance while delivering exceptional value to our clients.
2. Working Hours & Availability
We operate on a flexible, results-oriented schedule. We trust you to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and client needs.
- Core Crossover Hours: While you may choose your start and end times, all employees are expected to be available for synchronous collaboration during "Core Hours".
- Responsiveness: During your set working hours, we expect timely responses to internal communications (e.g., within 2 hours on Slack/Teams).
- Time Zone Coordination: Employees must keep their calendar up-to-date with their working hours and time zone. All meeting invites must be sent with time zones clearly enabled.
3. Communication Standards
In a remote environment, over-communication is better than under-communication. We adhere to the following hierarchy:
Channel | Usage Case | Expected Response |
Instant Messaging (Slack/Teams) | Quick questions, status updates, team banter. | ~2 Hours (during work day) |
Email | Formal requests, client comms, non-urgent documents. | 24 Hours |
Video Calls (Zoom/Meet) | Strategy sessions, complex feedback, social connection. | Scheduled in advance |
Project Management (ClickUp/Asana) | Task assignments, funnel updates, progress tracking. | Daily Check-ins |
The "Camera-On" Etiquette: To foster connection, we encourage (but do not mandate) cameras to be on during team meetings and client calls.
4. Workspace & Technology
To ensure professional delivery of our digital services, every employee must maintain a suitable remote workspace.
- Internet Requirement: A stable, high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload) is required.
- Equipment: Keenfunnel will provide [or subsidize] a standard hardware kit (Laptop + Monitor). Employees are responsible for maintaining a dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions during client calls.
- Professional Appearance: During video calls, your background should be neutral or professionally blurred. Dress code is "Smart Casual" for all video interactions.
5. Data Security & Confidentiality
As a digital agency handling client sales funnels and proprietary data, security is non-negotiable.
- Network Security: You must strictly avoid using public, unsecured Wi-Fi (cafés, airports) for accessing client data unless using a company-approved VPN.
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): 2FA must be enabled on all Keenfunnel accounts (Google Workspace, CRM, CMS, etc.).
- Device Security: All work devices must be password-protected and locked when left unattended. Personal use of company devices should be minimal and comply with acceptable use standards.
6. Performance & Professionalism
We measure success by outcomes (KPIs, funnel performance, project completion), not hours logged.
- Output over Presence: It does not matter if you work at 8 AM or 8 PM, provided you attend required meetings and hit your deadlines.
- Digital Conduct: All written communication must remain professional and respectful. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive language on company channels will result in immediate disciplinary action.
- Moonlighting: While we respect your free time, any secondary employment must not compete with Keenfunnel’s business interests or interfere with your primary duties.
7. Health & Wellness (Right to Disconnect)
Remote work can blur the lines between home and office. Keenfunnel supports your Right to Disconnect.
- You are not expected to answer emails or messages outside of your designated working hours or on weekends.
- We encourage regular screen breaks and the use of "Do Not Disturb" modes during deep-work sessions.
