Keenfunnel builds and runs AI systems for clients, such as chatbots, AI voice agents and AI-generated content, and uses AI tools in its own work. This notice explains when you are dealing with AI, how we label AI content and what happens to your data. Our AI Policy sets out the governance behind it.
When you talk to AI
- Chatbots on our sites, and on systems we build for clients, say they are AI at the start of the conversation, unless that is already obvious.
- AI voice agents say they are AI at the start of every call. We make calls with AI voices only with the prior consent the law requires; in the United States that means prior express consent, and prior express written consent for marketing calls.

How we label AI content
- Images, audio and video that we generate or alter with AI, and that resemble real people, places or events, are labeled as AI-generated. Deepfakes are always labeled.
- Text generated with AI and published to inform the public on matters of public interest is disclosed as AI-generated, unless a person has reviewed it and an editor takes responsibility for it.
- Where we provide a generative AI system, its outputs carry machine-readable marking so they can be detected as AI-generated.
- For content delivered into markets with their own labeling rules, such as China and South Korea, we apply those rules as well.
These commitments follow Article 50 of the EU AI Act, which applies from 2 August 2026.
Your data and AI
- We do not use client data, or what you write to our chatbots, to train AI models unless the client agrees in writing.
- We use chat transcripts and call recordings only to deliver and improve the service for the client concerned, and keep them no longer than that purpose requires.
Human oversight
A person reviews AI outputs before they are delivered to clients or published. Every AI system we build for clients includes a way to reach a person.
What we do not do
We do not build AI practices that the EU AI Act prohibits, such as manipulative techniques that cause significant harm, social scoring, emotion recognition at work or in education, or untargeted scraping of facial images. We do not create sexual or intimate images of real people, or any image that depicts child abuse.
